Pandigital has increased the price with its 9 inch tablet and e-Reader device that was launched before few months. This time the company is offering an improved version of the device which now booming of an in-built 3G connectivity. The new Pandigital Multimedia Novel features a 9 inch touch screen, and it runs on Android 2.0. The company has joined hands and entered into a partnership deal with the Barnes & Noble Book Store, the store acts as the content supplier for the device officially. This new device could connect to the internet only through Wi-Fi and the advancement for the device can come in the form of a 3G version.
Well, surely that has happened with the service provider AT&T assigning the contract free service, this means there will be no fixed rentals. You will have to pay only as you use the service, even though there is a minor problem. The 3G service is not available completely. Barnes & Noble’s Nookbook Store is pre-loaded. And the service is restricted to only downloading e-books and it will also not cover web surfing. So, you will have to depend on your Wi-Fi networks for browsing through internet. Except the price everything else is same about the tablet, nothing has changed really. The price of the Pandigital Multimedia Novel which is 3G enabled would cost you 0. So, with all these issues, do you still think that Pandigital would be able to leave its footprints in the market and would it be able to catch the eyes of consumers?
